Week Without Walls

The richness and diversity of the beautiful country of Myanmar is brought to our High School students through the Myanmar Field Studies Program and the Week Without Walls.

The Field Studies program offers a curriculum focused on learning about Myanmar culture, geography, and history and, more importantly, taking this understanding outside our school and into communities around Yangon and throughout Myanmar.

The Week Without Walls program in the High School provides students with extended opportunities to immerse themselves in many diverse aspects of Myanmar culture in distant locales.

Each grade travels to a different region of Myanmar where they study local history, culture and ecology and perform community service. In addition to learning local arts and crafts, students participate in sports and games with the members of the local communities.

Grade 9 students travel to Mandalay Division.

Grade 10 students make their journey to Inlay Lake in the Shan State.

Grade 11 students journey to Kalaw.

Grade 12 students travel to Myauk Oo.
